How Stamox Works
STAMOX® supports oxygen delivery, blood flow, and endurance through the body’s natural nitrate to nitric oxide pathway. After consumption, dietary nitrates are converted into nitrite by bacteria in the mouth. The body then converts this nitrite into nitric oxide, a molecule that promotes vasodilation, meaning blood vessels relax and widen. This helps increase blood flow and allows more oxygen and nutrients to reach working muscles more efficiently during exercise.
Hour 1
Shortly after you consume STAMOX®, bacteria in your mouth start to convert some of this nitrate (NO₃⁻) into nitrite (NO₂⁻). You might see a gradual increase in nitrate levels in your blood plasma.
Hour 2
The conversion of nitrate to nitrite in the mouth continues. Some of the swallowed nitrite is converted into nitric oxide (NO), which causes vasodilation (widening of blood vessels).
Hour 3
The levels of nitrite in your blood plasma may peak around 2-3 hours after ingestion. This is when you may experience the effects of increased NO of improved oxygen-rich blood flow to muscles and organs.
Hour 4
The cell-level NO production stays noticeably elevated for another 2–3 hours. The effects of NO depends on the amount of nitrate initially consumed, and your body's ongoing reduction of nitrite to NO.
Nitrate and nitrite levels will stay in your system, but decrease and is essentially back to baseline within 12 hours. With regular nitrate intake, the body maintains a more consistent level of nitrate and its metabolites.
